The long Easter weekend is finally upon us. Four long days to spend with the family. Haven’t made any plans? Here are our last minute Easter weekend activities that we’re sure everyone will enjoy.

Puppetry: Wow! Said The Owl 

Tim Hopgood’s children’s book Wow! Said The Owl is brought to life in this puppet show accompanied with storytelling and music. The beautiful story tells of an owl who is determined to stay awake to experience the daytime world.

If you’re looking for something a little different, experience a puppet show on a London bus in Spitalfields this weekend. The show, filled with knights, princesses and dragons will be taking place on the lower deck. Upstairs the kids will be able to take part in a puppet-making workshop where they’ll be able to create their own imaginative designs to take home.

Historical: Fire! Fire! Great Fire Of London Exhibition 

This interactive exhibition marks the 350 year anniversary of the time when disaster struck the city back in the 1600s. Delve into the destruction of the time and experience the fire through the eyes of a 17th century Londoner. Get close up to rarely seen artefacts and learn the true story behind the tragic fire.

Musical: A Celebration Of World Voices 

Outstanding singers from four continents will join together this Saturday to bring the Royal Albert Hall a showcase of music and culture in the form of youth choir singing. Expect enthusiasm and energy from this incredible sound spectacle featuring eight world choirs.

Cookery: Little Chef’s Masterclass

Get out of town: Drayton Manor
