Budding Musicians: Little London Music School Pre-School Class 

This class is a fantastic way to get your child interested in music and instruments. They will have the opportunity to sing and learn about all the different instruments, from child-sized drums to castanets and maracas to even saxophones and harps. Adults are asked to stay and participate with their child throughout the class.

Lego Lovers: Art Of The Brick 

This marvellous Lego exhibition has just arrived on London’s Southbank. A remarkable 2,000,000 have been used to create everyone’s favourite comic book super heroes, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, amongst many more! The largest Super Hero LEGO artwork ever is a must-see for children and adults alike.

London Tourist: Tower Of London And The Crown Jewels

One of Britain’s best-known attractions, the Tower of London is likely one of those attractions that, being a Londoner, you never got around to visiting. Spend the day engrossed by tales of murder and mystery and learn about deadly plots that took place in the tower, as you walk around the famous stone walls. Take a peek at the magnificent Crown Jewels too, which are made up of an incredible 23,578 gems. Book tickets here!

Library Time: SPINE Festival

This fabulous festival is taking place in libraries across London this weekend and there are so many fun activities for all the family. There will be music, dance and drama, to poetry, storytelling and animation – you’re certain to find something you’ll love! Family Workshop: History, Mystery And Futures Foretold

Designed for families to work together to discover the mysteries and histories of Somerset House, this workshop will take you and your children on a journey of exploration though a variety of objects and illustrations. Then, having learnt about the history, there will be an opportunity to try and predict what the future has in store for this grand building.

Looking Down On London: View From The Shard

A magnificent experience for all the family, View From The Shard is the most exciting way to see and experience London. The Shard, which is the tallest building in Western Europe boasts of breathtaking views 360° over the city and 40 miles further into surrounding counties!

Q&A: So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs?

This interactive show about dinosaurs will give children the opportunity to ask anything they have ever wanted to know about dinosaurs (mostly the ones you couldn’t answer!). Dinosaur expert Ben Garrod will impart his knowledge and answer questions such as: did dinosaurs eat their own families? Was every Tyrannosaur a fearsome carnivore? And why did the Allosaurus headbutt its prey to death?

Get Out Of Town: Godstone Farm 

At Godstone Farm there is so much to see and do, including meeting and feeding the farmyard animals, handling the bunnies and chicks and trying to spot the lizards and snakes in the ‘creature cave.’ After they tire of the animals, your children will be able to blow off some steam on the zip wires, slides and climbing walls. Embrace the start of Spring with a trip to Godstone Farm.

Restaurant of the week: Leon In The West End

We popped down for a pre-show bite last week to be serenaded by the staff – ideal for getting you in the musical theatre mood! Each of the staff take turns to showcase musical classics and keep you entertained while you chow down on natural food and drink. The kids will love the musical entertainment and you don’t have to feel guilty for eating fast food because Leon’s menu is healthy and all natural. Highly recommended for all the family!
