Visitors to Art14 will be able to come along to the Purple Dragon stand, where little ones can get creative and draw their very own masterpiece after being inspired by the fabulous art on show at Art14. The works of art will be displayed on the walls of the Purple Dragon gallery for visitors to enjoy, and at the end of the show, a winning picture will be picked by Purple Dragon’s resident art experts. The winner will receive a 10 visit Holiday Membership to Purple Dragon.
Other activities taking place during Art14 include a guided tour of the show, from the perspective of a child. The Purple Dragon team will pick out their favourite, most child-friendly pieces, and escort families to the galleries exhibiting them. They will provide a brief explanation about the artist and encourage children to share their views and thoughts about the piece. These tours will take place every hour starting from 11.30am on Saturday 1 March and Sunday 2 March and families should meet at the Purple Dragon stand.
Encouraging creativity and imaginative play is core to the Purple Dragon philosophy. The club’s dedicated Arts & Crafts room is a place where kids can get messy, have fun and be inspired by the artist of the week.
