Sign them up to get street smart

The Street Smart team are hosting workshops this month to help children get street savvy. The first workshop (5 July) is a Q&A for parents. It will cover challenges such as walking to school alone; being the youngest age group in a new school; and thriving despite less parental supervision. The second workshop is for parents and children. It will help your children work on confidence, and reading body language from a distance; this will be followed by a Q&A wherein children will be encouraged to ask questions.

When: 5 and 23 July
Where: The Half Moon Putney, Putney
Great for: Ages 5+

Make a trip to the ultimate toy kingdom

The new one-stop family destination has finally landed. The Harrods’ Toy Kingdom has opened in its new location on the 4th floor of the Knightsbridge department store. The Toy Kingdom has received a complete overhaul with both children and adults in mind — it’s modern, fun and colour coded, making it easy to find what you’re looking for and harder to lose your little ones amongst the toys! The one-of-a-kind Toy Concierge is our favourite feature. Toy experts will help you pick out the perfect gift for your child and commission extra special pieces. Don’t miss the baby gifting service where Harrods will help you build a bespoke baby basket.
