Beatboxing on the Southbank

If you have not experienced beatboxing, Shlomo is the perfect first-time introduction. He is fun, cheerful and full of energy and you will be in awe of the sounds that can come from one person, regardless of your age. The Festival of Love is in full swing as well with countless activities.

Pangaea in Chelsea

The Saatchi Gallery are hosting family workshops over the summer holidays to keep creative juices flowing. Each Thursday session will range from messy activities: painting, sculpting, printing, to tidier activities: Manga comic drawing master classes, and ending with African inspired designs and sewing. Ice cream and fountains in the forecourt too.

Creative Writing in Blackheath

A two-day workshop to shake up imaginations and develop creative writing kills. Tips to brainstorm, plan an effective summary and pad it all out into an enticing read. A great warm-up before the start of school and essays – and held in a lovely shop that will no doubt be helpful in stirring imaginations.

Off the Wall Skatepark in Waterloo

The House of Vans opens as london’s first indoor skate park this weekend. An epic space that will include an art gallery, music venue, cinema, cafe, and a skatepark with a huge concrete bowl, mini-ramps and courses. Sessions are available to skate or BWX and must be booked in advance.
