Although everybody loves a pantomime, this year London has various different festive shows on offer, and we can’t wait! Here are just a few that are perfect for the whole family that I can’t wait to see.

Disney On Ice: Frozen 

Enter a fantastical winter wonderland beyond imagination when Disney On Ice presents Frozen. The heartwarming award winning tale of two sisters and love. Be magically whisked away to wintry Arendelle by dazzling special effects and astonishing skating as you sing and dance along to inspiring songs from the film.

WHEN: From the 21st of December

‘Cinderella’ and Chiswick House and Gardens

Chiswick House and Gardens are hosting a pop-up Christmas spectacular, housed in a tent in the venue’s walled garden. This retelling of the ‘Cinderella’ story boasts magic, classical music, ballet, and acrobatics.

The Best Ever Christmas Show 

A host of CBeebies stars, including Andy Day, Katy Ashworth and Cat Sandion, Oh, and Dave Benson Phillips too, will be showcasing a seasonal spectacular. The stars will be playing the inhabitants of Christmastown who have to save Christmas from the evil Queen Glacia.

The Night That Autumn Turned To Winter

The Battersea Arts Centre present a blend of comedy, high whimsy and devised theatre in their Christmas show. The production is a woodland story, starring a lively cast of forest animals. For kids aged three to seven.

The Snowman 

A beautiful dance performance adaptation of Raymond Briggs’s book. A true enchanting classic which won’t disappoint as you watch the boy and snowman take off and fly above the stage.

One for the littluns. This winter spectacular especially for toddlers is the story of a tiny penguin in a huge snowy world.

The Wind in the Willows

A story of friendship and courage, The Wind in the Willows is one of the best loved books of all time, now brought to the stage in a glittering new production that promises festive madness for all ages.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong

In a fun twist on the traditional story the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society battle against technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes. Will they ever make it to Neverland?!

The Royal Ballet celebrates Peter Wright’s 90th birthday with his much-loved production of this beautiful classical ballet, danced to Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score.

Christmas Festival

Treat the family to the best festive entertainment in town with Raymond Gubbay’s Christmas Festival! You should expect to hear a mixture of artists and music to celebrate this magical time of year.

Family Carols and Carol Service

Enjoy Christmas favourites in a service lasting 45 minutes, sung by the chamber choir, Cantate. Children especially welcome.
