Now that the holiday celebrations are over, it’s time to return to a more balanced lifestyle. Starting with small smarter choices, you’ll ease your family out of the holiday habits in no time. Here are a few ideas to help your family make the transition from common holiday habits to a healthy, yet fun and tasteful ways of eating.

1. Toss out the high calorie leftovers. Sorry to see them go, but I bet you enjoyed enough already and they will always be back next year!

2. Start off the mornings with a smoothie packed with veggies, fruits, and Champion Naturals vegan protein. This is easily digested giving your digestive system a break from the many meals over holidays. It is also loaded with vegetables, grains, nutrients, minerals and vitamins to re-energize the body.

3. Fill the refrigerator with vegetables to snack on like carrots, green beans, and celery. Dip in almond butter or hummus.

4. Take a family walk 2-3 times a week

5. Pick a fun weekend activity to participate in together like paddle boarding, football, skiing, or basketball.
