This delicious smoothie by Lisa Gatti has a combination of healthy fat, fibre, and protein that keeps blood sugar steady by slowing down the digestion and absorption of sugar. So if you have had too much sugar already this festive season this is a real treat that wont make you feel guilty.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp bee pollen
  • 1 tbsp hemp protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao
  • handful of ice

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
