Disney EMEA and TVM Fashion Lab have teamed up together to create a luxury children’s clothing brand called Courage & Kind. I got the chance to have a sneak peek at their range and have a chat to their designers.

The first thing I thought when I saw the clothes was “Wow! I hope they are doing an adult range”. The designs are simple and subtle yet very elegant, so you can dress them up or down as you see fit. The designers went back to the Mary Blair concept designs that she drew for the Disney animated classic, so they aren’t pictures that you would normally get to see. All the materials are soft mix of silk and cotton, which allows for easy washing.

The boys’ range will be based on the concept designs of the original Star Wars movies, which will be released on May 4th (which is a big day for Star Wars fans as it sounds like may the force). Again, these clothes are so well designed; they even have a hook where you can hang your lightsabers from and interactive logos! They will be releasing some of these clothes in an adults range, and I certainly know a few people that will be lining up to get these.

The clothes are available at Harrods at the moment, but will be available from The Disney Store from the end of April. The only problem I see with this brand is that you are going to want to buy the whole range rather than one or two pieces when you see it!
