Nanny Anita’s Review of The Trunkaroo Box Nanny Anita 29 April, 2016 Arts & Crafts, Blogger I was lucky enough to receive a lovely Trunkaroo box through the post the other day, and I have to say that I am absolutely in love with it. The box is beautifully present and filled with all sorts of lovely activities for children aged 3-8 to do. Each trunk includes generous amounts of materials, beautifully illustrated instructions and engaging ideas for children to explore art, science, crafts, imaginative play and DIY games. The open-ended projects are thoughtfully designed to encourage children to create, imagine, ask questions, tinker and experiment in a hands-on manner. Our finished butterflies Our trunk included a rainbow butterfly, a spinning top, a bonus badge for them to make and a “discoveroo” magazine with further activities in. EC and YC loved making these art projects and were amazed with the spinning tops. Our finished spinning tops This really is a perfect idea for parents that would love to do these sorts of activities but just don’t have the time to set them up or aren’t very crafty themselves. They would also make a great (and different) gift idea for children, as you can buy them in as a monthly, 3, 6 or 12-month plan. Head to Trunkaroo for more details and to sign up for your boxes. I will certainly be buying them as gifts for my God Daughter and Niece when they get slightly older. YC enjoying spraying her butterfly. EC putting the finishing touches to his spinning top.
