Happy New Year ūüôā If you’re recovering from the festivities, just back from the gym or if you’re a sleep-deprived new mama, this is the juice for you. Packed with anti-inflammatories this is the perfect little pick-me-up.


  • 1/4 small pineapple, skin cut off
  • 1cm/1/2in piece of root ginger
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 2 little gem lettuces
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1 green apple
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1cm/1/2in piece of turmeric root¬†or
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp plain or vanilla protein¬†powder
  • 1/4 tsp¬†flaxseed oil


Grab this fabulous juice after exercising. It’s packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients turmeric and pineapple, and protein powder to boost muscle recovery during your weight-loss programme. Put all the ingredients, except the ground turmeric, if using, the protein powder and oil, through an electric juicer. Stir in the ground turmeric and protein powder, and drizzle in the oil, then serve immediately.
