I just got home from a dreamy holiday in the Italian Coast and wrote this little piece on Portofino for our friends at Family Traveller, the best magazine for family… well, family travel funnily enough!

Portofino may be one of the most well-known and touristy destinations on the Italian coast but it’s still one of my favourites. Arriving in this little fishing village, nestled in the rocks of the Italian Riviera, it could easily be mistaken for a Hollywood set with its beautiful painted facades and cobbled streets. We normally spend a couple of nights here and although I always find a new hidden gem every time we visit, I think that’s the perfect amount of time to cross things off the bucket list… If you’re heading to the Italian Coast with the children or want ideas for family travel this summer, check it out here.
