We’ve finally come up for air after an amazing couple of days at Bubble London, London’s biggest trade for everything children. We loved this year’s Miami theme See Things Differently.
Bubble London is based at the Business Design Centre Islington, which is such an iconic building, and seeing all those wonderful children’s brands, old and new under one roof is pretty amazing.
There were loads of great seminars host to everyone from Nine in the Mirror’s Adriana Chryssicopoulos and Alex and Alexa’s Rachele Hayman on the buyer’s panel, Papa Puckka, Greg Stanton of The London Dad and Lily & Sid’s Imran Hassan on the Dad’s Panel. I managed to catch the lovely Kate Finney from Baby and Little London who chatted to Rachel Riley, Cecile Reinaud, founder of Seraphine, and Samia Khan from aden + anais about Momentous Moments for Brands.
We were rushed off our feet the entire two days, and stocked up on lots of coffee from our favourite footwear brand TOMS. We took time to check out all the stands on show, it was great to see many of our buddies there, including TOMS, Rachel Riley and the adorable Milou and Pilou.
This season saw the launch of Bubble Bump, an area dedicated to maternity and nursery collections, curated by maternity buyer Liz Pilgrim. Liz had a great selection of everything from teethers and dribble bibs, to muslins and maternity bras.
We also loved seeing the return of POP, which some of you will remember from last season. POP is a great area with really unique pop-up stands, which give smaller children’s brands a chance to shout. I love this area.
Our My Baba Hub was a hive of activity, with people queuing up to dunk strawberries in our My Baba & Zita West children’s vitamins and enjoy a glass of bubbly. We pulled in the gorgeous girls from Dazzle and Fizz who turned our stand into a mermaid paradise, covered in balloons from Bubblegum Balloons and our very own mermaid, who organised crafts for the children and endless selfies in front of our giant cut-outs.
