Oasis Farm Waterloo

In celebration of Waterloo Food Month, Oasis Farm are welcoming families to visit the farm. Children will be able to meet the animals and discover the area where plants and vegetables are grown. You can relax and enjoy the barbecue and jazz music.

Twinkle Twinkle

This adorable production presented by Touched Theatre is a fantastic way for your little ones to interact with the music and lights of the Twinkle Twinkle performance. A beautiful tale of a puppy who loves bedtime songs and play-time with his Dad that will take you on a journey through love, loneliness and loss.

Summer Fete

The annual summer fete is taking place at Westminster abby this Saturday. There will be plenty of things to do including raffles, an inflatable slide, games, tom bola and a birds of prey display. Food-wise, don’t miss the BBQ or the strawberries and cream.

FAB FEST Family Festival

The international fabrication festival has finally opened to the public. Get ready for lots of creative family fun including sketching, making and music! It’s such a great way to get thinking about design and architecture — something that we’re constantly surrounded by but often don’t think about.

The Art Of Brick

We’ve mentioned the Superhero LEGO exhibition previously but if you haven’t already heard about it, it’s certainly worth heading along to before the exhibition closes. It’s literally the largest LEGO exhibition in the world. We’re not geeky comic book fans, but seeing well-known superheroes made of bricks sounds excellent.

Wimbledon Family Fun Day

With Wimbledon underway and tennis fever sweeping the nation, everyone is feeling more tempted to get active. Get out of town: Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave

We know we’ve mentioned them before but that’s because we can’t get enough of these BFLF family raves that are taking place all over nowadays. This weekend BFLF will be hosting a Once Upon A Time fairytale-themed rave. Aimed at kids up to 8 years old, there is promise of arts and crafts, music and dance, and all sorts of fun. Head’s up: The Corner House Showcase Event

If you haven’t already heard about the Corner House, next week’s the time to check it out. Their Showcase Event will be a taster day for you and the little ones to try out the incredible classes, workshops and even popup shops that the Corner House has to offer. From Caterpillar Music and Club Petit Pierrot (another My Baba favourite) to Paola’s Body Barre and Movement For Life for the adults, this is such a great hangout for all the family.

Restaurant of the week: HIX Mayfair 

Mark Hix’s elegant restaurant in the heart of Mayfair is our restaurant of the week for many reasons. Hix has always been a strong campaigner for better food in restaurants for children, so his restaurants are always a treat for all the family. Meals for the kids include baked haddock with steamed spinach, honey-roasted chicken fillets, and a ground rib steak burger, all of which sound delicious! For the adults HIX Mayfair offer roasted Dorset Blue lobster, porterhouse steak, as well as raw dishes including rock oysters and steak tartare. The extensive menu is guaranteed to have your stomach rumbling and mouth watering!
