At the end of the month The Design Centre in Islington will be host to the fabulous Bubble London, the biggest and best baby and kids’ trade show in town. We can’t wait to have a sneak peek at the AW 2016 collections, and this year there’s lots of fun to be expected. This season Bubble London are introducing POP, a curated area that will host emerging designers and small brilliant labels in a special space, giving buyers the chance to discover something new and innovative. The space will include My Little Shop, Baby Mori, Pocco Rosso and Born in Britain.
Launches and exlcusives at Bubble London will see cult women’s footwear label F Troupe, with the very exciting collaboration with artist Rob Ryan. Danish brand Rains will be showing their first childrens wear range Sways, the brilliant muslin lifestyle brand aden + anais will at last be showing their fabulous collaboration with Disney. I can’t wait to see the characters from Winnie the Pooh, Bambi and The Jungle Book. Pearl Lowe will be showing Petite Pearl Lowe, which I really can’t wait to see. Jasmine Guinness will also be at Bubble with pieces from their Honeyjam knitwear collection. Brand Stable will exhibit for the first time with pieces from Trussardi, Guess and Liu-Jo. The lovely French label Catimini will also be making a debut this season along with Spanish label Canada House – Republic of Kids. Favourite and popular returns include Angulus shoes, Camper, Mayoral, Superga, Play is Work, iCandy and Rachel Riley.
Further excitement at the show involve Spun Candy who’ll be making magic happen before your eyes, and the fabulous Anorak Magazine are creating a bespoke colouring floor. There’s a must-see fashion installation curated by Olly Paton, who’ll be showing her favourite pics of the show, and also showcasing her own kids’ range – Where’s the Bear over in Pop!
We’re excited to hear about the Instagram Booths that will be dotted around the show, to get the hashtags flowing.
For those who are up for a bit of a debate, Bubble are putting on some great panel discussions. Instagram Mums will be chaired by Smallish magazine’s Estelle Lee, and include our very own Leonora Bamford, Little Spree and Mother Pukka. The Mothers Mean Business panel is being chaired by Baby & Little London’s magazine’s Kate Finney who will be talking to high profile mums including Caprice, Pearl Lowe and Jasmine Guinness. The Buyers Guide panel is being chaired by Fiona Coleman who will be joined by Brand Stable’s Daniele Sismondi, Childrensalon’s Arianna Vaccas, Elias & Grace’s Nickey Thrussell and Fenwick’s Melanie Cassell.
The My Baba Hub will be our home for the show on stand A46 for both days, where we will be juicing up a storm with our multivitamin and multi biotic, having fun and games with Sharky and George, and holding an exclusive competition for the children with Pink Lining, where the winning creations will be made into reality!
