Introducing The New Bugaboo Giraffe – A Chair For All Ages

Bugaboo has ventured into a whole new world of baby kit with the launch of the new Bugaboo Giraffe highchair, and as with all new-release products from Bugaboo, we were excited to take a look.

Introducing The Bugaboo Giraffe

The Bugaboo Giraffe highchair offers five seating solutions designed to grow with your child into adulthood. We’re talking serious milestones and moments, from newborn through toddlerhood to adulthood. Yep, you read right. This is a chair for life.

The days of giant beast-like plastic highchairs destined for the dump are long gone. Bugaboo’s premium new highchair is available in five beautiful colour options that will look the business amongst any interior. Designed to be used throughout the home, the Giraffe is more than just a highchair for mealtimes; it’s a statement piece that will look great in the dining room or around the house for learning, playing, sleeping, and growing.

Sustainably made to last

The Bugaboo Giraffe is a great high-quality product that offers your family longevity in terms of usability. Expertly crafted from FSC®-certified European Beechwood, all Giraffe’s plastic parts are made from ISCC-certified bio-based materials, which means the Bugaboo Giraffe’s CO2 footprint is 61% lower than if it was made using conventional plastics.

How easy is it to assemble the Bugaboo Giraffe?

Embracing the best of Dutch design (as always), Bugaboo’s new highchair is crafted from sustainable materials to give you a frame that’s super sturdy, and super simple to assemble. Here’s the official video, but essentially, you pop the legs in, and secure them with four screws using an Allen key, and you’re ready to go. From pulling everything out of the box to assembling it from start to finish took around five minutes. No power tools involved, so you can breathe a sigh of relief!

Versatile chair, adjustable in one second

As you’d expect, Bugaboo has ticked every box when it comes to practicality. Designed in collaboration with ergonomic experts, the Bugaboo Giraffe’s innovative design offers five different seating solutions, and the best bit? You don’t have to get out the screwdriver to make it happen. The Bugaboo Giraffe is adjustable in just one second by simply sliding the frame, so you always can be sure your child is sitting comfortably.

Whether they’re taking their first bite of a banana or sitting up at the table finishing their homework, kids of all ages can wiggle comfortably and safely thanks to the Bugaboo Giraffe’s sturdy pyramid structure and solid wooden legs. In fact, the Giraffe can support up to 100 kg/220 lbs, so it can be enjoyed into adulthood for decades after the baby phase is over.

Adjustable and customisable

The Giraffe’s five seating solutions are optimised for each appropriate age and size with lots of clever, modular, snap-on accessories including a rocker frame and comfy pillow sets. There’s a newborn set so even the littlest ones can enjoy a relaxing seat up at the kitchen table. There’s a baby set with a dishwasher-safe tray perfect for weaning, and of course, proper back and foot support for toddlers and older kids. Messy meals? The Bugaboo Giraffe can be wiped clean with ease, and all fabrics are machine washable. Amazing!

Nala's Dream by Taylan Kurtul

Nala’s Dream is a magical children’s story with an incredibly poignant story behind it. It was first imagined by five-year-old Taylan Kurtul, who dreamed up an adventure in which his real-life kitten, Nala, travels into space. Taylan sadly died in February 2024, just eight months after being diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumour. His mum lovingly brought the story he created to life as a book in his memory, celebrating Taylan’s wonderful imagination while raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. A beautiful legacy filled with adventure, love and a little boy’s magic.
