Cardboard gingerbread houses
If there is one thing that we all have plenty of during this time of year, it’s cardboard boxes. If you are looking for a simple activity that will keep your little ones busy while you finish some last-minute tasks or to just enjoy a cup of tea, then these cardboard gingerbread houses are perfect for that.
Make sure you follow my Christmas board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.

Draw the house on the cardboard and cut it out. If your little ones are too young to be able to cut out the shape of the houses themselves, then you will have to help with this part. If they are old enough then they can do this part independently.

Using some sort of white marker/paint decorate the houses, I used puffy white paint as it gives the appearance of having icing on it.
When the houses are finished (and dry if using paint), then you can stick them to the wall just above the skirting board.
