Talented pianist, James Rhodes is drumming up a bit of a frenzy behind his Don’t Stop The Music campaign. He says ‘music education should be a right, not a privilege’, and he wants the government to give every child in England the opportunity to play a musical instrument.

There are two main strands to his project – one of them tackling the government to deliver on their promise on music education across England, and the other is calling on us, the public, to donate unused instruments which will go to local primary schools, where they really are badly needed! Oxfam and Yodel Direct are helping to sell and deliver these instruments, such simple steps could make a massive difference.

Check out Don’t Stop the Music for more information on how to donate an instrument. Sign the petition, or watch James’s inspirational show on Channel 4.
