Dress Up and Dance for Macmillan Cancer Support | My Baba

Macmillan Cancer Support’s Dress Up and Dance fundraising event will be returning to schools and nurseries across the UK this summer on Friday 19th June. This year’s theme is ‘Legends’, so your little ones can dress up as their heroes, be it pop stars, super heroes, sports personalities or film stars!

Over 3,000 schools signed up to take part last year, raising a staggering £200,000 for Macmillan, which helps children and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.

There are specially themed Rock and Roll themed diddi dance classes taking place across the UK this week and all little ones under 5 can take part. They are a great way for families to get involved in the campaign if the relevant school/nursery isn’t taking part. Over 2,000 toddlers will be attending the diddi dance classes in fancy dress. For more information on local diddi dance classes families can visit Diddi Dance.

What can you do to help? Simply encourage your schools and nurseries to sign up to this great cause, and get your little ones to Dress Up and Dance on Friday 19th June! Click here for more info.
