The Pink Flamingo

A refreshing ‘Mocktail’ you can enjoy as a celebratory pregnancy drink too! Watermelon is a great source of pregnancy vitamins and soothing for heartburn as well as being delicious on a warm summer day!


  • 1 measure grape juice
  • 1 slice watermelon 2 inches thick
  • Juice ½ lemon
  • Crushed ice
  • Sparkling mineral water


1. Blend the watermelon with the grape juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice
2. Half fill a tall glass with crushed ice

We named this non-alcoholic cocktail after a flower as its perfect for summer! The ginger will also help aleveate heartburn and pregnancy nausea.  It’s simple, delicious and perfect for celebrations, parties and BBQ’s!


  • 4 measures of ginger ale
  • 1 tsp grenadine
  • 1 Measure of orange juice
  • Crushed ice
  • Slice of orange and maraschino cherry


1. Half fill a large wine glass with crushed ice
2. Add the freshly squeezed orange juice and the grenadine, top with ginger ale
3. Garnish with the slice of orange and maraschino cherry – you can leave out the cherry but it does look cute!

Ginger Slinger

Ginger is renowned for alleviating pregnancy heartburn and nausea so this sparkling drink not only tastes good but makes you feel good too! Perfect for summer parties when your pregnant or just looking for a tasty alcohol free drink alternative!


  • 3 tsp good quality ginger cordial
  • Juice of ½ orange freshly squeezed
  • Generous measure of fresh lime juice to your taste
  • Sparkling mineral water
  • Crushed ice
  • Sprig of mint and slice of lime


1. Half fill a glass with crushed ice
2. Mix the ginger cordial, orange juice and squeeze of lime and pour over the ice
3. Top up with sparkling mineral water and decorate with sprig of mint and slice of lime
