A Polar Bear in Finchley

If, as a many children seem to, you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a bear turned up in your bedroom, here’s one possible answer. Tilly is delighted when she wakes up to discover an enormous and cuddlesome polar bear in her room; but, faced with the incredulity of her parents, a trashed kitchen and a garden full of poo, the logistics of domestic bear-keeping begin to look problematic. Based on Raymond ‘Snowman’ Briggs’s picture book ‘The Bear’, the Pins and Needles production is a magical and captivating piece of children’s theatre, and an astonishing display of virtuoso puppetry.
