Fun Things To Do with the Kids this Weekend | My Baba

Mini Maker Faire at South Bank

There are so many ways to fire up young imaginations at iOI’s Mini Maker Faire. Children can fly drones, build camps, rebuild toys, explore 3D printing and get to grips with animation. Mini tech heads will love the many IT-themed stands, whether they want to make a computer, marvel at old ones, build a game from scratch or even code a robot. For artists, there are story walls to tell, pebbles to paint and clay to sculpt. Book now, and see you there.

Appearing Rooms

Try your luck at guessing the next move of Jeppe Hein’s fickle fountain. This interactive sculpture returns to Southbank Centre after popular appearances in previous summers. Shooting jets of water into the air, the fountain creates rooms that disappear as quickly as they emerge. If you guess wrong you might get soaked – but it is summer after all.
