With summer upon us, I’ve been thinking a lot about taking the children camping. Not real camping, I think they’re still a bit young. But fun, in the garden, on a nice night camping!
My children adore making forts, it doesn’t matter if it’s the size of a matchbox, big enough for a teddy or the size of a house, it’s the idea I think that has them excited. So I started testing and researching the odd thing on the market. I’ve gone from one extreme to the other on sizing and price but it gives you an idea of what’s out there. I love the idea of having a permanent structure in the garden for the children to enjoy for years to come. I also like the thought of snuggling down as a family, dogs and all in to the gorgeous old fashioned swinging chair. I hope you enjoy looking through my top picks and if all else fails, a nice big sheet and some pegs will surely do the trick.
