To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we’ve pulled together ten fantastic Jubilee events happening in London, perfect for the whole family.
Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant tells the story of The Queen’s 70-year reign and our transforming society. The Pageant is played out in four parts:
Act I: For Queen and Country
For Queen and Country is the opening act of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant. It will be a military spectacle, celebrating the UK Armed Forces from all three Services, along with military personnel from across the Commonwealth including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Ghana, Belize, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, and beyond.
Act II: The Time of Our Lives
‘The Time of Our Lives’ is a vibrant display of British life since 1952, moving through a transformation of popular culture over the last 70 years.
Act III: Let’s Celebrate
The third act of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, Let’s Celebrate, will harness creativity, ingenuity, humour and community spirit.
Act IV: Happy and Glorious.
A finale like no other will form around the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace with all parts of the Pageant leading to this moment.

Musical celebrations from Nu Civilisation Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Fun-filled performances for all the family with Moxie Brawl’s Punk Alley, Half Moon’s Party and Folk Dance Remixed’s Step Hop House
Taking place across Wednesday 1 – Sunday 5 June 2022, the Southbank Centre’s eclectic programme of Jubilee events encompasses both “Official” and “Alternative” Royal Command Performances alongside classical music, punk, dance, performance and parties, to appeal to diverse and wide-ranging audiences.

A Platinum Jubilee fayre will be held on Saturday 21st May on Totteridge Green where there will be fun for all the family. Games and challenges, jazz band, Morris dancers, Pimms Stall, food mall, tea and cakes, children’s soft play area and a fancy dress competition. There are also challenges and competition for dogs. So much to see and enjoy!

On the 2nd & 3rd June there will be a celebratory street party on North Audley Street. You can enjoy a variety of food stalls, special Jubilee-themed menus, celebratory cocktails, music and entertainment, and of course, incredible decorations lining the streets.
Celebrating the historic occasion in true Mayfair style, the theme for the street party is ‘Let’s Go Fly a Kite’, drawing inspiration from the fanciful aesthetic of Mary Poppins and of picture-perfect summer fêtes from years gone by. The nostalgic set-up will include a curated communal table for 300 people, where everyone is invited to take a seat.

This festival will be one for the whole family and will bring the charm and wonder of the historic air pageants back to the Museum. There will be a vintage fairground, living history, messy play, face painting, music, aircraft access, Airfix and much more! They’ll be celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee so why not have a cream tea in the pop-up tearoom and join the party?

Celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in style along with the rest of the nation. The event will have large areas for families to enjoy food and drinks, while they watch performances from Royal Greenwich Festival partners.

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with Zoobilee at ZSL London Zoo. Packed with family-friendly activities, the whole family will enjoy a day of celebration – not to mention getting up close to over 15,000 animals!
Bring your favourite cuddly toy to take part in the wildest Teddy Bears’ Picnic in town, take a walk on the wild side with our bug hunting and pond dipping sessions, or create your own animal crown to wear as part of our environmentally friendly crafts.
With animal talks, face painting, quizzes and trails, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Queen Elizabeth I has arrived at the Charterhouse on the way to her coronation. Learn more about the Jubilee and enjoy an audience with the future Queen, as a costumed interpreter from Spectrum Drama brings her to life in her first throne room, the Great Chamber. But, don’t forget, the house needs to look its best. From food to laundry, dress to décor, lend a hand to ensure the Charterhouse is fit for a queen!

London’s FIRST ever Corgi Café is going to be electric!
In celebration of Her Royal Highness The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, London’s first Corgi Café will be coming to The Refinery Bankside!
If you have a corgi (or just love them) then don’t miss the chance to treat your corgi to a right royal day out, meet lots of fellow corgis, corgi owners and dog lovers and be part of an exciting, buzzing experience hosted by Pop & Bark.

Be part of an unmissable moment this Platinum Jubilee year by joining the Superbloom at the Tower of London. This immersive floral spectacular will see visitors enter the medieval moat and be transported through a field of blooms around the famous fortress in celebration of HM The Queen’s 70 years on the throne.
Dates: 1st June until 18th September
Visitors to Battersea Power Station and its surrounding area Circus West Village, can make an afternoon out of their visit and enjoy the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the offers and menus available at the great mix of bars and restaurants already open in Circus West Village. There will be a great line-up of free family-friendly activities await at Battersea Power Station this Jubilee which includes free activities including live performances, outdoor family-friendly games, screenings of celebrations from around the world and enjoy food and drink from some of London’s finest street food trucks and pop-ups from some of the restaurants at Battersea Power Station on The Coaling Jetty and much more. Battersea Power Station will be the first central London destination visited by the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay on 2nd June following its arrival back into the UK after a remarkable trip across the Commonwealth.
