Funky Moves May Half Term Art & Dance Holiday Course!

Jam-packed fun is to be had at My Kidsy’s Funky Moves art and dance holiday course. A typical day consists of different activities such as arts and crafts, dance and games, with drinks and snacks provided throughout. There’s an emphasis on fun, friends, and FUNKINESS!

Rave-A-Roo Festival

Imagine an indoor festival vibe with a focus on the whole family partying together and getting their rave on….and you have Rave-A-Roo; a new clubbing mash-up of festival fun for all the family. Expect live Djs, incredible hosts, spectacular light shows, stage performances, confetti mayhem finale, a UV tattoo station, the disco ball games, neon crafts, funky soft play, baby glow toys and special guests.

Plus kids TV stars Go!Go!Go! (as seen daily on Nick Jr.) with an all new electro show in the Rave-A-Roo Main Room.  Go!Go!Go! have enjoyed touring around the UK and Asia in 2015 following their last sell out shows at the Shepherds Bush Empire.

KidZania Go Green This Half Term

To recognise World Environment Day, the brilliant KidzZania are planning a host of exciting educational and fun environmentally friendly activities to teach kids the importance of, and how to be eco-friendly in the KidZania City. During half term hols, kids will learn about the world of water, and the importance of safe, clean driving water, how to create recycled paper, and learning the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry with H&M Conscious.

WHEN: 28th May – 5th Jun

AGES: Kids aged four to fourteen years of age can participate in the role-playing activities / babies and toddlers (up to four years of age) can visit the RightZKeeper’s Residence – a section with play areas specially designed for them. They can also participate in role-playing activities within this establishment


Half Term Private Family Art Tours at Tate Modern

Sian Gwilliam is running some fantastic family tours at the Tate Modern this half term, and what’s more, the tours are tailored to suit different ages, there are some suited especially for families with babies, and others for older children. There are activities to try in all of the galleries, so if you’re up for soaking up a little culture this holiday, contact to book a place.

Mini Harrods Storytelling in Toy Kingdom 

Why not get down to Harrods for some Gruffalo-themed storytelling and face-painting this weekend? Featured books include The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, Stickman, Room on the Broom, A Squash and a Squeeze, Charlie Cook’s Favourite book, Monkey Puzzle, The Snail and the Whale, and The Smartest Giant in Town.

Busy Bee Hunt at Wyevale Garden Centres

Wyevale’s top 50 garden centres will be running a special event this weekend to inspire young minds to learn about bees. Children are invited to find six busy bees hidden around the garden centre, each bee holds a question, and correct answers will be rewarded with a Busy Bee sticker. There are other fab events running throughout the half-term holiday, including a baking master-class in the Buzzing Bakery, to planting flowers that bees will love.

Riccardo’s Italian Restaurant is our restaurant of the week, and the best place for all the family to go to experience delicious home-made Tuscan foods. Nestled in Chelsea, Riccardo’s menu is list based – with no starters or mains. Dishes are small, starter portions – tasting dishes, which is perfect for both adults and children to experience a whole range of tasty treats. There are also lots of vegan and gluten-free options.

London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival

The London Regatta Centre plays host to the 21st London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday 26th June. It’s safe to say this event is one of the capital’s most exciting cross-cultural sporting events, drawing in many visitors from across the UK and overseas. A great family day out with spectacular action to be seen on the water from up to 40 competing clubs, corporate and amateur teams, with lots of fun planned on dry land. There’s a South East Asian food festival, live music showcasing artists from the East and West, martial art displays and even traditional Chinese
