This October Half-Term, The Gleneagles Hotel celebrates Disney Pixar film Brave, the animated film set in mythical Scotland, with the Myths and Legends Break. With a stunning 850-acre backdrop of dramatic Perthshire countryside, and located just one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Gleneagles is the perfect location for an epic half-term adventure for all the family.
To get into the spirit of the fantasy, action and adventure featured in Brave, Gleneagles is offering a host of film-inspired experiences for everyone, including;
- Generous discounts on archery and riding – the skilled heroine Princess Merida’s favourite sports
- A programme of craft activities – including shield and sword-making classes; Celtic jewellery design sessions; tartan weaving and sporran sewing and Scottish country dancing lessons
- A family pass to nearby historical Stirling Castle and the opportunity to discover the splendour and turbulence of Scotland’s history and enter a world of heroic Kings and Queens
- Brave-themed treasure hunts, splash parties and a mythical ‘Ghost hunt’ organised by the team at Gleneagles especially for the half-term week
While the children are at play, parents can indulge in some restorative time at award-winning Spa by ESPA and ESPA Life or take to one of the hotel’s three 18-hole championship golf courses. Alternatively learn something new at the falconry school or simply take time out to explore the idyllic and mystical scenery that surrounds Gleneagles.
