Until recently you lived in the UK. Tell us about family life in Hong Kong, how does it compare to the UK?

Life is a lot more outdoorsy in HK than you might think, the vast majority of HK is actually national parks. We used to do lots of hiking and exploring the islands on junk boats. It’s great to have the beaches right on your doorstep and I loved taking Eden swimming every day from a few weeks old.

You have a little one and you’re pregnant again, what’s your fail safe look to flatter the baby bump?

I am not a big fan of black usually and try and avoid it when designing, but it really is the most slimming option that I feel most confident in right now! I just bought a cool oversized vintage American football shirt and that will be my summer look with cut off jeans.

What inspires you and your designs?

Travel, Architecture, interiors, my friends and family, both men and women, basically it’s just important to keep observant at all times! Top deck of the bus, It’s amazing what you can see if you are just a little elevated in this town.

What’s on top of your to-do list this week?

I’m off to Paris on Thursday, as we are exhibiting our Pre SS14 collection to the international buyers. Kempton antiques market to peruse the vintage. And I need a new pair of trainers!

What’s in your nappy bag?

As little stuff as possible!

How do you juggle such a successful career with family life?

I live right next to the studio, which saves me so much time and Eden can come visit me whenever I need a squeeze. Productivity in the studio drops rapidly though so she can’t stay long!

Would you ever consider doing a kids’ collection?

One step at a time, I still have so much more to do on my womenswear line first!

Everyone’s talking about the Duchess of Cambridge and her new baby, Prince George. If you had to dress her post bump, what would you put her in?

I would love to see Kate in some crisp boyish tailoring, She would look so cool and elegant in a black tux suit for an event!

What’s the one baby product you couldn’t have lived without?

Baby Bjorn, it meant adventure and freedom, I could still explore the winding streets of down town Hong Kong and hang out with my little girl! She loves being out and about, a very nosey little thing.

How would you sum yourself up in one sentence?

I’ve hit a wall with this Q so asked my Husband, he says “extremely tenacious and convicted in your beliefs… that’s polite for very bossy!”… The man lies!
