Baukjen partner with Oxfam

Baukjen and Isabella Oliver have partnered with Oxfam to support their Second Hand September campaign. Baukjen have launched a Pre-Loved ‘take back’ scheme for their sustainably and socially conscious womenswear brand and relaunched sister maternity brand Isabella Oliver’s Pre-Loved scheme. Customers can donate items they no longer wear to either Baukjen or Isabella Oliver to be re-loved, repurposed or recycled. 50% of the net proceeds from sales of both brands will be donated to Oxfam to support its vital work to beat poverty worldwide.

House of Baukjen (Baukjen & Isabella Oliver) also offer rental schemes run purely in-house to ensure they are powered by low-impact energy, and all emissions from logistics are off-set. The game-changing brands recently launched a Baukjen sustainability index with the aim to educate consumers on the footprint of their clothing.

The goal of the Baukjen/ Isabella Oliver x Oxfam partnership is to decrease the levels of production and radically reduce maternity and non-maternity fashion waste going to landfill each year. For every clothing donation received, the slow fashion brand will also plant a tree from Eden Reforestation Projects on behalf of their customers.
