The My Baba Measure: What’s Hot This Week

From Christmas grottos and London restaurants and cashmere mini-me fashion and pregnancy nutrition workshops, here’s what the My Baba team are loving this week.

WHAT’S ON: Christmas at Marwell Zoo

Step inside the winter wonderland at Marwell Zoo. Walk through the glittering illuminated trees and step into the enchanting Neverland-inspired world inside the zoo’s Grade 1 listed manor house. Meet Mother Christmas and the mischievous elves in their workshop. The little ones will be able to create their very own Christmas bag with the help of Santa’s elves. Listen to tales inspired by Peter Pan before meeting Mr Claus himself who will be granting wishes and giving out gifts to all the children. This Christmas experience includes entry to the zoo.

HOME: The Shark DuoClean Cordless vacuum

Shark have unveiled their latest vacuum: the Shark DuoClean Cordless Upright vacuum cleaner with Powered Lift-Away. Charge up the battery, by itself or with the vacuum attached. The charge takes around three and a half hours, then you’re good to go. So what’s in the name? DuoClean means that it has two brushes in the floorhead so it sucks up the debris and dust rather than pushing it around. Having never used a cordless vacuum before, the best part for me, aside from not getting tangled in wires, was the Powered Lift-Away. You can lift the pod away from the floorhead (while you’re vacuuming!) in order to push the floorhead into hard-to-reach places or tackle the stairs without trying to balance the whole vacuum on each step.
