Introducing The Bugaboo Stardust: The Pop-Up Travel Cot That Grows With Your Baby

Have you heard about Bugaboo’s brand new game-changing travel cot, the Bugaboo Stardust? The sleek-looking Stardust is the company’s first venture into a new product category, and as you can imagine, we were super excited to take a closer look.

Compact and lightweight

A compact and lightweight travel cot that grows with your baby from newborn up, the Bugaboo Stardust is set to be a serious contender in the travel cot game.

Weighing in at just 6.7kg, the Bugaboo Stardust folds down to just 14cm wide, so it’s perfect for slipping into the boot of your car. With its own premium Velcro closing bag, this is a travel cot that’s made to move. It’s effortless to pack up, and with comfy carrying straps the Stardust can be transported from place to place with complete ease.

ONE second unfold

A key thing to consider when buying a travel cot is how easy it is to assemble and collapse. There will be many parents able to regale you with mock-horror stories concerning travel cot battles, but this Amsterdam-born product is a complete breeze in comparison.

Thanks to the Bugaboo Stardust’s unique all-in-one-design and built-in mattress it can unfold in just ONE second, making bedtime on-the-go easier than ever.

The cot’s innovative design with patented aerospace technology enables the Stardust to unfold in one second and fold back together in three seconds, as if by magic.

Zip-in bed for newborns and babies

Putting a baby safely to bed in a travel cot can be tricky if the mattress is at floor level, and fishing a baby out from the base of a travel cot can be even more complicated – take it from a mama who knows!

Problem solved: The Bugaboo Stardust has a nifty zip-in mattress that’s adjustable to two heights, so you can reach your baby with ease.

You can modify the mattress level as they grow, making it an ideal sleep solution for little ones of all ages.

Built-in comfort

The travel cot is surrounded by a lightweight mesh that promotes optimum airflow for breathability. The mesh also gives you the opportunity to keep an eye on your baby, which is reassuring for both of you when you’re staying in unfamiliar surroundings.

The cot’s fabrics are made from chemical-free high-quality materials, and once established, the cot feels sturdy and robust, so you can rest assured your baby will sleep peacefully.

Pop-up playpen

The Bugaboo Stardust doubles up as a fantastic pop-up playpen, which will come in really handy if you’re staying somewhere that isn’t child-proofed.

In The Spotlight

Nala's Dream by Taylan Kurtul

Nala’s Dream is a magical children’s story with an incredibly poignant story behind it. It was first imagined by five-year-old Taylan Kurtul, who dreamed up an adventure in which his real-life kitten, Nala, travels into space. Taylan sadly died in February 2024, just eight months after being diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumour. His mum lovingly brought the story he created to life as a book in his memory, celebrating Taylan’s wonderful imagination while raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. A beautiful legacy filled with adventure, love and a little boy’s magic.
