The re-launch of the Micralite Sleep&Go travel cot comes just in time for the warmer weather and spring-summer trips away. We take a look at what’s new, and why the Sleep&Go travel cot is more than just a great sleep solution.
Part of the prestigious Silver Cross family, Micralite is known for its high-performance products made for family adventures. They’re a brand that listens. Their new updated travel cot is a response to feedback that not everyone needs Sleep&Go from birth, and so this sustainable revamp can be purchased with or without the newborn insert and is suitable for kids up to approximately three years of age.
With so many products on the market, becoming a new parent can be overwhelming. When shopping for baby gear, it’s worth doing your research and asking the all-important questions – what do I need this product for? What else can it do? How can it save me money?
The Micralite Sleep&Go is a brilliant example of a multi-solution product – savvy shopping at its best!
Why? Because its design is not just for the holidays. The Micralite Sleep&Go is certified for overnight sleeping, so it can be used as an everyday co-sleeper for your newborn, saving you money on purchasing a separate crib for those first few months.
The Sleep&Go’s clever design presents an ideal everyday sleep solution. The newborn insert sits at bed level, so you can co-sleep with your baby and reach in and out of the cot with complete ease, whatever time of day or night. The zip-in newborn insert is super easy to attach, and feels completely sturdy when in situ.
The travel cot doesn’t take up an enormous amount of space next to the bed either, so you’re winning on all fronts.

Micralite’s Sleep&Go is designed with breathable mesh panels to promote optimum airflow for your baby or toddler when they’re sleeping. But that’s not all. This is a travel cot that doubles up as a playpen, with a zippable panel at one end of the cot. It’s perfect for use at home or away, and we think it presents the ideal base for turning into a makeshift den for toddlers and young children to have fun in.
If you’re looking for a travel cot to do exactly what it says on the tin, the Sleep&Go ticks all the boxes. It’s lightweight, compact and mobile, so it’s always with you whatever your family adventure. Micralite’s Sleep&Go can fold up in seconds and it even has its own carry case to make life on the go easier than ever.
The new Sleep&Go travel cot and optional newborn insert are available to buy now at micralite.com.

Nala’s Dream is a magical children’s story with an incredibly poignant story behind it. It was first imagined by five-year-old Taylan Kurtul, who dreamed up an adventure in which his real-life kitten, Nala, travels into space. Taylan sadly died in February 2024, just eight months after being diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumour. His mum lovingly brought the story he created to life as a book in his memory, celebrating Taylan’s wonderful imagination while raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. A beautiful legacy filled with adventure, love and a little boy’s magic.
