Zita and I are so excited to have launched these two lounge suits for pregnancy and postnatal. We first saw a version of the pregnancy loungewear last year and fell in love with the idea of having something so comfortable that you could sleep in, go to work in, or just curl up on the sofa. We spent a few months finalising the silhouettes and gorgeous organic cotton materials. Although I’m not pregnant or postnatal, I feel I could live in either one.

Pregnancy loungewear you’ll love

The camel coloured maternity 2 piece has an incredibly comfortable waistband that can be worn above or below a growing bump and the clever soft elastic means that you can wear it post-pregnancy too. It would be a fantastic piece to have in your hospital bag and packs very well. I love the zipped funnel neck which manages temperature fluctuations that one often gets during pregnancy and it also gives a couple of different looks depending on how you are feeling. I also love the tapered ankles which look fab tucked into a chunky sock.

I’m super excited about the navy organic cotton towelling 2-piece. Its got a beautiful silhouette and a similar waistband which feels so comfortable on the tummy. I find so many tracksuit bottoms far too tight around the waist and we wanted ours to fit perfectly and to feel like your wearing your favourite pair of pyjamas. This piece has a slightly different bottom in its wide leg and looks great resting over trainers. The bit that I love most about this tracksuit is the hidden zips that sit like darts allowing easy access for breastfeeding. I always found breastfeeding in public slightly uncomfortable and awkward at times and I wish I had had a top like this with hidden zips for easy breastfeeding access!

Our Baba West lounge suits are both made from organic cotton with OEKO TEX certified dyes. You can buy our loungewear along with our growing range of supplements at babawest.co.uk
