STORYSTOCK Festival My Baba 8 October, 2015 Activities and Days Out, Features, Living I can’t believe it’s that time of year again and the wonderful Angels and Urchins are hitting with their brilliant STORYSTOCK festival. All info is below, but in essence, STORYSTOCK is a travelling circus of stories that will entertain your children over half term. STORYSTOCK returns to the Bush Theatre this half term (28-30th October). If you are looking for something to entertain your little treasures, then look no further. STORYSTOCK consisits of three whole days of literary fun and games from the Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell and his world exclusive live drawing show to Kipper and The Blue Kangaroo storytelling in the story tent – STORYSTOCK has it all. Michael Morpurgo’s beautiful book I Believe In Unicorns is magically brought to life on stage, there’s Dinosaurs Pooping Planets, The Harry Potter show, Hip Hop Shakespeare and lots more. This year they are also putting on events for us grown ups too, don’t miss The Ultimate Parenting Debate with Toby Young and Tom Hodgkinson – which is best the pushy or the idle parent? This fiery debate will be kept in control by ITV’s Mary Nightingale as chair. This one is sure to get opinions flying on Wednesday 28th at 8pm. For a more serious take on parenting catch the parenting guru Noel Janis Norton, author of Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting who is offering tips, tales and treatments for a smoother family life in her ‘Never Ask Twice’ seminar on Thursday 29th at 7pm.
