Every year I look forward to the Design Centre’s Easter Party which is organised by my hero, Caroline Foster, the Associate Director. We’ve been counting down the days until this particular Easter party for the past month, and it was exceptional, as ever. We were greeted by the real life Easter Bunny, and the children rushed over to the little people’s bar for pink milk and bunny rabbit biscuits, whilst I enjoyed some delicious canapés and spring punch at the grown up bar.

There was so much to see, from balloon modelling, face painting, and the children’s favourite Sharky & George to keep everyone entertained. The little craft tables were a brilliant touch, where the children could paint their own Easter themed money boxes, before going on to meet real life bunnies in the magical woodland, where they also found baby chicks, ducklings and little black sheep.

After all the excitement, we settled down to individual wicker baskets, filled with the perfect little picnic. Beautifully presented and scrumptious through and through!

The grand finale was a supervised Easter egg hunt, where the children had to find specific prizes, which they got to take home along with the most adorable purple jelly cat bunny.

Only 364 days to wait until next year! I can’t wait to see what you do next!
