Forget hot stones, check in for a Lava Shells massage. This dreamy massage will be hands down, the most relaxing thing you’ll do this month (we know, we tried it!). The self-heating hot shells emit heat, so when pressure is applied to the skin, the heat penetrates into your muscles. The curved surface of the shells allows the masseuse to get into any nooks and release any muscle tension. You’ll choose from a selection of kokolokahi oils depending on how you’re feeling; we opted for the calming Serenity blend. Lava Shells are popping up in salons all over the place, but we recommend Salon Savant who deliver the treatment in luxurious surroundings.
When: Book in for a time that suits
Where: Salon Savant, Kings Cross
Great for: De-stressing
Zip wiring will always be awesome and no doubt Zip London is the best place to do it. With three wires, three of you can swing on down together and land mega-drop style (as in, you jump back down to earth!). Zip London isn’t just any old soaring through the sky: you’ve gotta take in the sight of Parliament and the London Eye too.
When: Until early September
Where: Archbishops Park, London
Great for: 8 years and above
