I’m so proud to be on the committee for this wonderful charity Tommy’s and I do hope that you will join us at their inaugural Children’s Carol service. My friend Marina Fogle wanted to create something truly unique, full of light, laughter and the joy of Christmas with children at its heart. And so each child will carry an electric candle and we’ll be singing our hearts out at St Mary Abbots Church, Kensington on Monday 3rd December. The service will be from 6:30-7:30 and there will be Christmas drinks and cinnamon buns afterwards.
Tickets are £30 per person, children 4 and under (on laps) free and you can buy them by clicking here.
We are raising money for Tommy’s, who, after her son Willem was stillborn, Marina is on the fundraising board for. The work Tommy’s are doing, conducting groundbreaking research around miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth continues to shape the lives of parents and their children and it feels fitting that it’s the parents of tomorrow, our children who are at the heart of this carol service, who will be the ones who will benefit most from Tommy’s work.
Some of you who are unable to come have asked whether you can donate to the charity. You can do this on the Eventbrite site but since they charge a commission, it’s better if you can do this direct to the charity.
