I was told about this amazing site by a friend of mine, and I have to say I think the Tree Change Dolls are absolutely wonderful. To have a doll that looks more like the child who is playing with it has got to be better for self-esteem and confidence in our little ones.

Tree Change Dolls are the creation of Tasmanian artist Sonia Singh. Sonia rescues old dolls and transforms them into these beautiful creations by removing the factory paint, repainting them and restyling their high fashion habits for down to earth styles. What a very welcome breath of fresh air!

It’s no surprise that once Sonia posted pics of her dolls, she went viral. It seems the world can’t get enough of these down to earth dolls. Let’s hope this is start of a doll revolution! 12208621_976252255765859_9148295021877340776_n 12234890_976252189099199_4758589154029758231_n
