There will be cheerleaders to raise everyone’s spirits, lots of workshops, donkey rides, chess tournaments, birds of prey displays, music, rides and lots of stalls. A family friendly carnival style street party with something for everyone. VENUE: Hampstead Heath, Hampstead, London NW3 PERFECT FOR: All ages Twelfth Night at Morden Hall A truly enjoyable open air production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night or What You Will will be performed first at Morden Hall followed by Brockwell Park from next week. A contemporary version of this bittersweet comedy ideal for slightly older explorers. Can be enjoyed with a picnic hamper on site for a very lovely evening indeed. VENUE: Morden Hall, Morden Hall Road, Morden SM4 PERFECT FOR: Ages 11+ Mount Street Gardens Summer Fair in Mayfair An elegant summer fair within these well tended Mayfair gardens. Traditional games, brass bands, dancing, tombola, a fancy dress parade, and a raffle with very nice prizes. There will be food and drink, but if you want to splurge on a luxe picnic, Mount Street Deli is just around the corner. VENUE: Mount Street Gardens, Mayfair, London W1 PERFECT FOR: All ages Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival Over 40 dragon boats will be racing for the finish line at this action-packed day. In addition, there will be martial arts displays, music, traditional Chinese dancing, children’s games and a raffle. The London Regatta Centre is located opposite City Airport, if you have not seen it, this is an attraction in itself.
