Valentine’s Fingerprint Heart Cards

Do you need a simple, but cute idea for a homemade Valentine’s card? Well, look no further. I was wracking my brain for an idea, then when I stopped thinking about it, as so often is the case, I suddenly thought of Valentine’s fingerprint heart cards. Even very young children can get in on the action.

Make sure you follow my Valentine’s board on Pinterest for more ideas.  Don’t forget to save the pin for later.

To make your own Valentine’s Fingerprint Heart Cards you will need:

  • Card
  • Ink pads
  • Pens

We used A6 record cards that we folded in half.

Press your fingertip into the inkpad and then press it firmly onto the card. You’ll want to do it at an angle. Repeat at an opposite angle to make it into a heart shape.

Experiment with turning your hearts into people and making quirky pictures out of them.
