NEW Winter Collection, Jellycat

Jellycat is embracing the magic of winter with a new collection inspired by snowy adventures, woodland walks and festive fun. Filled with much-loved characters and exciting new arrivals, there is plenty to discover, whether you love exploring outdoors or getting cosy at home.

Leading the collection are Jellycat Jack ‘Alpine’ and Bartholomew Bear ‘Alpine’, both dressed and ready for mountain adventures. Franilla Luxe Bunny, Birchly Moose and Tawoola Owl also join the fun, each bringing their own personality to the winter range.

The Amuseables collection features Ski Club Goggles, Scarffles Hot Chocolate and Molasi Cookie, alongside Pinecone Tree and matching Pinecone Wreath. Fitzsnug Mitten joins her twin, Fitswell, while Crunchfall Pecan Pie adds a playful touch to festive celebrations.

There are also new Christmas decorations featuring Bartholomew Bear, Bartholomew Bear Jr. and Leola Bear, perfect for adding a little Jellycat charm to your festive displays.

My favourite has to be Birchly Moose!

Abbott Lyon Announces Partnership with Tommy’s

Honour every journey into parenthood with Abbott Lyon’s Symbols of Hope collection, created in support of Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity. The partnership is deeply personal to Abbott Lyon’s co-founders, Asha and Jezz, who turned to Tommy’s during their own experience of pregnancy loss. Each design carries a meaningful symbol: the Sun for hope and healing, the North Star for remembrance, and the Rainbow for new beginnings. Women’s bracelets are 14ct gold-plated and priced at £49. Men’s leather bracelets are also £49 and include a stainless steel charm, with extra charms available at £15 for anyone who wants to add more. Packaging features original illustrated designs by Murphy’s Sketches. £5 from each bracelet and £1.25 from each men’s charm sold will be donated to Tommy’s, with a commitment to raise at least £50,000 in support of their incredible work.

Stripe & Stare x Boden: The Underwear Collab We Didn’t Know We Needed

Two British favourites have joined forces for the first time, with Stripe & Stare x Boden launching a limited-edition underwear collection on 11th October.

Bringing Boden’s joyful prints to Stripe & Stare’s famously soft TENCEL™ fabric, the nine-piece capsule includes original and high-rise knickers, thongs, bralettes and a lace-trimmed cami. At the heart of the collection is a gorgeous vintage wildflower print, hand-picked from the Boden archive, alongside nostalgic stripes and playful hearts.

It’s colourful, comfortable and just the right side of nostalgic — basically, very Boden, very Stripe & Stare and a rather lovely way to brighten up the underwear drawer.

Launching just as thoughts turn to Christmas, we’re also earmarking this one for gifting. Although, frankly, we’d be very tempted to keep it for ourselves.

Book of The Week

Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Sarah Finan

A bright and bold board book all about the joy of eating pumpkins!

There’s only one thing this little baby loves to eat – pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin! Creamy mash, tasty pies, or fresh from the patch – every kind is delicious!

With sweet rhyming text, bold, bright artwork, and clever die-cuts throughout, this board book is a delight to read aloud to little ones and is sure to be enjoyed time and time again.

Something in the Darkness, John Dougherty

A Halloween treat from an award-winning author, this spine-tingling tale brims with eerie suspense and a powerful message: sometimes what frightens us most in the dark is less fearsome in the light.

As night falls and strange whispers seem to follow your every step, the question lingers – what’s out there in the dark?

Packed with suspense, this unputdownable story will keep young readers on the edge of their seats, eventually revealing that some things are more frightening in the darkness than they are in the light.

A must-have picture book for families who are looking for a thrilling tale this spooky season

Nala’s Dream, Taylan Kurtul

Nala’s Dream is a magical children’s story with an incredibly poignant story behind it. It was first imagined by five-year-old Taylan Kurtul, who dreamed up an adventure in which his real-life kitten, Nala, travels into space. Taylan sadly died in February 2024, just eight months after being diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumour. His mum lovingly brought the story he created to life as a book in his memory, celebrating Taylan’s wonderful imagination while raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. A beautiful legacy filled with adventure, love and a little boy’s magic.
