Pregnancy Twinning: Make a Difference and Twin a Pregnancy This Mother’s Day!

I just heard my gorgeous friend Marina Fogle on the radio yesterday, talking about an amazing charity that she supports, Chasing Zero.

Chasing Zero’s latest initiative called Pregnancy Twinning is such a lovely idea, and although I’ve just had my baby I’m going to see if I can get involved.

Pregnancy Twinning asks UK mums-to-be to twin up with mums-to-be in Malawi, with a one-off donation of £42. This money goes a huge way in helping prevent maternal deaths, by providing better antenatal care, the chance for mothers to give birth in hospital, nutritional support and education on maternal health, not to mention medical support for those mums who are HIV positive. The stats are shocking – a woman in Malawi stands a one in 26 chance of dying during childbirth. Pregnancy Twinning hopes to drastically reduce that number by providing the medical support thousands of Malawi women need with your help.

Share your pregnancy journey by twinning and receive news from your twin-mum, all the way from Malawi. It’s time to make a real difference this Mother’s Day.
