The award-winning animated film We’re Going on a Bear Hunt follows the intrepid adventures of siblings Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max, the baby and their pet dog Rufus, who decide one day to go on an adventure through the countryside in search of bears. The animation and music bring to life the irresistible story and beautiful artwork of Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury’s bedtime favourite, which has enchanted new family audiences with its story of perseverance, optimism and a love of nature since its Channel 4 TV premiere on Christmas Eve 2016.
Experience it on the big screen with the thrill of a LIVE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA! Composer Stuart Hancock will conduct an orchestra comprised of the Band of the Welsh Guards and the Countess of Wessex’s String Orchestra – who recently performed magnificently alongside all the stars at the Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace.
The family show will include a fun guide to the musicians in the orchestra and the tunes in the music score to listen out for, as well as singalongs to George Ezra’s charming title song Me and You.
All profits from the performances will benefit the Royal British Legion, providing financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants.
If you can’t make the London performance, snuggle up with your loved ones and listen to the adventures of Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max, the baby and their pet dog Rufus on the magical Toniebox.
Get set for a thrilling adventure as four siblings and their pet dog wade through a deep cold river, squelch through mud, brave a whirling snowstorm and stumble-trip through a big dark forest in search of a bear. We’re not scared, are you?
The award-winning story by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury is now available for little listeners to enjoy on the Toniebox, complete with two catchy songs by English singer-songwriter George Ezra.
