Being pregnant is undoubtedly one of the most exciting times in your life, but for many, it throws our sense of style into utter chaos. Whilst some women will relish their ever-growing bosom, others will struggle to contain it (don’t mention the veins!). Then the waistline we work so hard to maintain suddenly disappears, only to be replaced by a thick, flabby sort of bloated shape, followed by the beer belly. It’s not all doom and gloom, though. On the plus side, your hair is the best it’s ever been. Luscious, thick, glossy locks, you can’t stop stroking. And your skin, well, it has a radiance that manages to disguise the daily exhaustion perfectly.
So, the big question on everyone’s lips is how do you make your bump work with your style?
This is the time to let your accessories do the talking. Layer necklaces together and build up your arm adornment. Swathe yourself in a luxurious oversized printed scarf to finish off the look.
They’re bang on-trend at the moment and work really well with the bump for a simple but stylish pregnancy. Wear with skater pumps or dress up with heels. Comfort is key, but you can still look chic in these.

A trapeze top or dress will accentuate your top half whilst cleverly disguising the bump at the same time and will make your legs look super skinny. Perfect for those special occasions when you’ll want to look stylish during your pregnancy.
Everyone loves a maxi dress when pregnant, but I lean towards the pencil dress that falls just below the knee. It not only shows off bump perfectly, it’s no fuss, chic dressing at its best. I love Isabella Oliver’s LBDs this season. Wear with a pair of heels or trainers and accessorise with a leather jacket.
