I’ve been wanting to write this column on products for new mums for months now and finally I’m there. I started by noting down the products that have really worked for me – including anything and everything from baby swaddles and sleeping bags to breast pumps and high chairs. It may look like a pretty daunting read but it made me realise how far the mother and baby market has come since I had my first child.
For mamas-to-be, there is now SO much choice. If you’re a second or a third time mum like me, you made be tempted to rely on old favourites, but when I had my third baba, I made it my mission to try hundreds of new products, and some of them really amazed me. It made me curious as to the products other mothers were championing. I did some research on Instagram, calling all mamas to comment with their favourites – their real must-haves. I was overwhelmed by how many offered up their hero products, the key items they couldn’t have lived without.
