Why The Baby Jogger City Tour Is The Buggy About Town

Famed for their invention of the three-wheeled jogging stroller in the ‘80s, it’s no wonder Baby Jogger are still making tracks in the buggy world to bring us the latest innovations and designs that ease our lives as parents. Recently at My Baba, we had the fantastic opportunity to try and test the newest addition to the Baby Jogger collection, so we’re super excited to introduce the Baby Jogger City Tour Stroller.

Designed with an urban environment and active city dweller in mind, the City Tour stroller is the most compact Baby Jogger to date. We really love how it folds down into a backpack-style carry case. It’s perfect for being able to tend to the children without dragging a huge pram around. It’s pretty light too – only six kilos – which is great considering all the other baby accoutrements we have to carry around.

Their thinking behind this design is “Travelling with children can be stressful and a stroller should ease the burden, not add to it.” We couldn’t agree more! The wheels can be set to ‘swivel mode’ which is perfect for manoeuvring the obstacle course we also know as London. You can also choose to lock wheels for longer distances, so we found the stroller great for adapting to different environments and terrains.

The design isn’t only for zipping around your hometown. The stroller is small enough to fit into overhead airplane lockers – just, wow. It caters for the sun with its UV50 canopy and other conditions with its weather shield (which you can buy separately). So many more travel options! It’s great for getting out of town and exploring other cities – family adventure anyone?!
