It’s (very nearly almost) the most wonderful time of the year! ‘Tis the season of the office party, the family do, the gathering of friends and (if you’re lucky) all-night New Year celebrations without the kids. Look no further for what’s trending in party make-up this festive season, my column has it all.
This autumn winter sees the return of the timelessly classic smokey eyes and red lips – yep, I’m talking glamour personified. As with all trends, they usually come back with a bit of a twist, and in this case, for the bold and beautiful, think graphic shapes, the odd burst of neon, and as it’s Christmas, oodles of glitter.
In fact, there’s so much glitter around this year, you’ll be set to rival the Christmas tree. I suppose my one tip when dousing your face in a sparkly finish, is that less is probably more; but then again, really – who cares, if you’re having fun!
