Introducing the Ergobaby AWAY, a portable and lightweight baby carrier designed to be your trusty sidekick. The ultimate backup plan for parents and caregivers, the Ergobaby AWAY is ideal for those last-minute trips, unforeseen delays, and moments when little legs need a little break. We take a closer look.

Ergobaby AWAY

The Ergobaby AWAY is a game-changing lightweight baby carrier. It’s a true space-saving marvel, weighing in at a mere 609g, making it Ergobaby’s lightest carrier to date. It boasts a compact design that can be effortlessly stored in its zippered pouch, measuring a petite 20 x 26.5 x 10cm. This carrier is a master of versatility. It’ll fit neatly into your changing bag, hang from your pushchair and can be worn as a bum bag or cross-body style bag.

Portable and lightweight baby carrier

The Ergobaby AWAY offers two carry positions: front inward facing and back carry, which is recommended for babies with full head and neck control, typically around 6 months and up. It’s suitable for children weighing between 12-35lbs (5.4-15.9 kg) or approximately 4 months to 3 years, so you’re guaranteed durability and longevity.

As your little one grows and becomes more independent, having a carrier that’s easy to carry and store is a godsend. The Ergobaby AWAY is tailor-made for quick trips and short carries, so it’s an excellent choice for grandparents and other caregivers. Wondering about breastfeeding or chest-feeding? The Ergobaby AWAY is designed for this, so you can feed your baby on the move. It comes equipped with a quick-access pocket, a handy hang loop, reflective strips for added safety, a tucked-away privacy hood, and a compact storage pouch. And what’s more, the carrier is machine washable, so your baby carrier always looks and feels fresh.

Hip healthy baby carrier

Just like every Ergobaby carrier, the Ergobaby AWAY has earned recognition from the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as a “Hip Healthy” product. The lightweight baby carrier also holds the prestigious Seal of Approval from the AGR of Germany for its back-friendly design for both babies and parents. It’s backed by Ergobaby’s 10-year ErgoPromise guarantee, giving you peace of mind for years to come.
