I’m personally a huge fan of red lipstick and tend to wear it all year round, it’s a feminine statement that offers a timeless look that will never go out of style.
A quick trick to find the right shade of red for you: find a colour that has the same undertones as your skin. All you have to do is simply check your wrist for the colour of your veins: if they’re more purple in colour, you have cool undertones; if your veins appear more green, you’re warm. Warm reds are orangey in tint, and the cool reds have an element of blue. If you’re struggling to find the right lipstick shade for you, try mixing the ones you have at home. For longer-lasting colour, opt for a matte look, and don’t forget to use a lip liner to keep the colour from bleeding outside of your lips.
Red lips look best when paired with A red nail polish, so it’s time to get matchy-matchy!
