When one of our favourite pushchair brands joins forces with one of Britain’s most iconic fashion designers, you know we’re paying attention. Enter Bugaboo x Stella McCartney, a seriously stylish new limited-edition collection bringing a little luxury fashion to the everyday business of parenting.
Launching globally on 15th September, the collaboration sees Stella McCartney put her unmistakable stamp on three of Bugaboo’s best-loved strollers, the Fox 5 Renew, Dragonfly Plus and Butterfly 2, alongside a capsule collection of coordinating accessories.
And yes, we were lucky enough to meet Stella herself at the launch. Safe to say this one has gone straight onto the My Baba wish list.
At first glance, this is unmistakably Stella.
The collection arrives in a beautifully autumnal Tobacco Brown colourway with Saddle Brown accents, finished using vegan leather alternatives. Look a little closer, and you’ll spot references to one of Stella McCartney’s most recognisable designs, the Falabella bag.
Its distinctive diamond-cut chain, originally inspired by a horse bit, has been woven into the stroller canopy, complemented by vintage gold medallions and Stella McCartney branding. The result feels much closer to a luxury fashion accessory than your average bit of baby kit.
And that’s rather the point.
Why should becoming a parent mean leaving your personal style behind?
Thankfully, the collaboration isn’t simply about making a pushchair look fabulous.
Bugaboo has spent more than 25 years designing strollers around durability, functionality and family life, while Stella McCartney has long championed the idea that beautiful design and more responsible material choices can coexist.
Bringing the two together means the foundations of the Bugaboo strollers remain intact, but with Stella’s fashion credentials layered on top.
The limited-edition collection includes the Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew, the go-anywhere option for families who want something robust; the Dragonfly Plus, designed with compact city living in mind; and the Butterfly 2, Bugaboo’s ultra-compact travel stroller.
So whether you’re navigating muddy country walks, London pavements or the airport departure lounge, there’s a Stella-clad Bugaboo for the job.

This is where the partnership between the two brands makes particular sense.
Stella McCartney has famously never used leather, fur, feathers or animal skins in her collections, instead becoming one of fashion’s most prominent advocates for alternative materials.
For the Bugaboo collaboration, fabrics are made using recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles and coloured using water-free dye technology. The hardware also incorporates a combination of bio-based materials and recycled aluminium.
It’s luxury baby gear with a little more thought behind what it’s made from and how long it can stay in use.
If you’re not quite in the market for a £1,850 designer pram, there’s still a way into the collection.
The capsule includes a coordinating footmuff, tote bag and matching adult and toddler mittens, with accessories starting from £120.
And we suspect those matching mittens may prove particularly irresistible. They’re a first for Bugaboo and come decorated with the Stella McCartney monogram, so you and your mini can officially coordinate on the school run.

The campaign is fronted by model, entrepreneur and first-time mum Poppy Delevingne, with dreamy imagery shot amongst natural landscapes.
Rather than motherhood swallowing up everything that came before it, the campaign celebrates the idea that becoming a parent and retaining your own identity can happily coexist.
It’s a sentiment Stella herself echoes as both designer and mother, describing the collection as being for mums who want to bring their own individuality and playfulness into parenthood.
And frankly, we’re here for it.
The Bugaboo x Stella McCartney collection launches globally on 15th September 2026, available through Bugaboo and selected retailers worldwide. Prices start from £120 for accessories, rising to £1,850 for the limited-edition Fox 5 Renew.
Beautifully designed, distinctly Stella and still unmistakably Bugaboo, this might just be the chicest way to do the school run this autumn.
