Ingredients
Method
1. Turn the cake scraps into a fine crumb texture, all roughly the same size crumbs by rubbing it between your fingers into a large bowl
2. Add 1-2 drops of green food colouring to your buttercream
3. Add the coloured buttercream to your cake crumbs
4. Mix together (either with your hands or a wooden spoon) until it is fully blended and has formed a dough-like consistency
5. Unwrap the Cadbury Creme Egg. Mould the mixture around the Cadbury Creme Egg into an avocado shape
6. Place in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes
7. Break up the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a bowl until it is smooth and runny
8. Take the avocado out of the fridge and paint on the chocolate on the outside. The chocolate will harden in reaction to the coldness of the avocado and will start to create a textured surface
9. Keep brushing on the chocolate until the whole avocado is covered
10. Poke a hole in the top end of the avocado with the end of the paintbrush and leave to set completely
11. Cut in half to reveal the goo inside!
12. Drizzle the leftover melted chocolate inside (optional)
